Manchester City, under Pep Guardiola’s leadership, thrives under pressure, aiming for their fourth consecutive Premier League title. Recent wins place them as frontrunners, potentially securing a second treble. With upcoming crucial matches against Real Madrid and Chelsea, including a possible return of Kyle Walker from injury, City’s confidence is high for continued success.

The coach of Man City Pep Guardiola thinks that his team members are doing great with the pressure of the title race.

Manchester City enjoyed the fantastic weekend that made them closer to their fourth consecutive Premier League title. The team is at the top of the table due to a win against Luton, combined with losses for Liverpool and Arsenal. This places Guardiola’s team as clear frontrunners not just for defending their title but also for potentially achieving an incredible second treble in a row.

With their recent form and the setbacks faced by their rivals, City now stands in a strong position. Their performance suggests they have what it takes to continue their dominance in the league and potentially clinch additional silverware. As they march towards the end of the season, all eyes will be on City as they aim to make history once again.

“They like to play under pressure,” said City manager Guardiola, speaking after Saturday’s 5-1 hammering of the Hatters. “They like it when you are dead or alive.

“That doesn’t mean we are going to do it but I am pretty sure we will be there until the end because I know them, I see their faces in the meetings before games and how they prepare.

“That means we’ll be Premier League champions? No, no. I am not saying that. But we will compete, that is for sure.”

City players are getting ready for two big clashes in the Champions League and FA Cup. Real Madrid and Chelsea are the opponents of Manchester City. They will play against them. The last game between Manchester City and  Real Madrid ended with the tie. Now at this time they play again at their home ground.  This is one of the great chances that City’s players get. They want to win the game and move to the next round. The team is feeling confident and excited about this important match.

Furthermore, the strong player of City Kyle Walker might be back soon. He was injured but after feeling better decided to rejoin his team.

Even though he missed the last few games, he was on the bench for the recent game against Luton. If he returns, it will make the team stronger, especially in defense. With Walker’s possible return and the team’s good mood, City is all set for an intense and thrilling week of football ahead.

Guardiola said: “He feels much better but he was injured, so now we will see in the next few days. But he is good, he feels good.

“Maybe he can help with minutes because it is a ‘final’ but I don’t want to lose him for a long time if he gets injured. He will train a bit more now and we will decide.

“I know how important Kyle is against the players from Real Madrid but he was not in Madrid and Manu (Akanji), Josko (Gvardiol), John (Stones) and Ruben (Dias) played incredibly well. We will see.”

Fellow defender Stones should be fit despite being left out of the squad altogether on Saturday as a precaution.

Guardiola said: “He had some problems, some niggles, but he’s fine.

“He is not injured but he felt uncomfortable and we didn’t want to take risks. That is all.”
